— To respect other individuals and their space

Our children's program is designed for students between the ages of 7 - 14 years old. Our primary goal for our students' curriculum is to provide the highest quality of martial arts instruction and help the student develop personal life skills while learning self defense. To do this we provide a clean, fun positive atmosphere where students can learn and train with our award winning instructors team ( Voted #1 karate school for kids in Silicon Valley by the Bay Area Parent Magazine - Best of the Best issue).

We teach the most comprehensive and complete self defense systems in today's society — Shaolin/American Kenpo Karate. This system becomes the primary tool to help the student develop a physical, mental and emotional edge while learning valuable self defense skills through the martial arts.

These life edge skills include:

Physical Development — We help the student develop strength, power, speed, balance, agility, leftside/rightside body coordination, eye/hand coordination, cardiovascular improvement and stamina, weight loss/control, sensory input improvement, detailed muscular control, improved motor skills, and an overall improvement in health and fitness.
Mental Development — The student's mental achievements can include focusing, a higher level of awareness of surroundings, reasoning development, decisiveness, positive self image, improved social and communication skills, understanding personal goals and achieving them, proper etiquette, and exploring one's own potential.
Emotional Development — A student's emotional development plays a major role in one's own life. We help improve, self confidence, self esteem, discipline, courage, emotional control and stability, overcoming fear and guilt, peer pressure, provide proper role modeling, friendship/relationship skills, encouragement, helpfulness, responsibility, self image, and more...
